1. Our core promise
KidsFirstKnowledge is free to use without an account, registration, subscription or profile. We do not ask for a child's name, birth date, photograph, voice recording, school, location or contact details. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We do not build advertising profiles.
2. No advertising or behavioral tracking
The portal carries no advertising, sponsored placement, affiliate promotion or commercial targeting. We do not use behavioral analytics, tracking pixels, cross-site identifiers or third-party advertising cookies. We do not attempt to follow a child or adult across websites or devices.
3. Audio stays on the device
Where a lesson offers spoken playback, it uses capabilities available on the visitor's own device and begins only after the adult presses the play control. KidsFirstKnowledge does not request microphone access, record voices or upload conversations. Available voices and pronunciation may vary by device and operating system.
4. Essential technical processing
Like any website, the hosting infrastructure may process limited technical information needed to deliver a requested page, maintain security and prevent abuse, such as an internet protocol address, request time, requested address, browser type and error information. This operational processing is not used for advertising or to create learner profiles and is retained only as reasonably necessary for security and reliable delivery.
5. Cookies and local storage
The public learning experience does not require cookies or browser local storage for accounts, personalization, progress tracking or advertising. A browser, operating system, network provider or hosting security layer may apply its own essential controls outside the educational design of this portal.
6. External links
The footer links to the independent project websites KidsFirstClass, EducationByMom, EduLabs and The Bach Foundation at bach.net. When a visitor follows an external link, the destination's own privacy practices apply. We deliberately avoid embedded social feeds, advertising networks and unnecessary third-party content.
7. Children's privacy
The service is intended to be used together with a parent, guardian, educator or other responsible caregiver. The adult should remain present and should not type, upload or disclose personal information about a child. If the portal ever introduces a feature that would materially change this approach, it will be assessed for child safety and privacy before release and this policy will be updated.
8. Security and data minimization
We use data minimization as the first security control: information that is never requested cannot become an educational profile. We also limit site features and third-party dependencies to reduce avoidable exposure. No internet service can promise absolute security, but our design avoids unnecessary collection from the outset.
9. Policy governance
KidsFirstKnowledge is a nonprofit, noncommercial educational initiative among The Bach Foundation projects. Governance information and project context are available at bach.net. This policy may be revised when the service, applicable obligations or protective practices change. The effective date above will be updated when a material revision is published.
Effective and last reviewed: 12 August 2026. This policy applies to KnowledgeForKids.com.
