"A galaxy is a vast gravitational system containing stars, planetary systems, gas, dust, stellar remnants, black holes, and dark matter. Galaxies appear in many forms, including spiral, barred spiral, elliptical, lenticular, irregular, and dwarf galaxies. These shapes are descriptions, not steps on a ladder. Galaxies form groups and clusters, and those structures connect through enormous filaments and voids called the cosmic web. Galaxies may pass near one another, stretch, exchange gas, or merge. Their stars usually remain far enough apart that direct stellar collisions are rare. Telescopes observe galaxies in radio, infrared, visible, ultraviolet, X-ray, and gamma-ray wavelengths. Galaxies are evolving gravitational systems that connect stars and matter across the universe." DESIGN REQUIREMENTS: Represent galaxy types without ranking.
