"A sound is something your ears can hear. Sounds come from many places. A person can speak. A bird can call. A toy can shake. Rain can tap on a window. A vehicle can make a sound while moving outside. Sounds can help us understand what is happening. A familiar voice may tell us who is near. Running water may tell us that a faucet is open. Listen quietly. What sound can you hear around you? Every sound has a source. Listen, look, and discover where the sound begins." DESIGN REQUIREMENTS: No sudden playback, loud effects, frightening noises, or automatic looping. Show the sound name visually for users who cannot hear it.
