What your child will discover
Help the child distinguish three institutions that support learning and public knowledge. Schools organise teaching and learning. Libraries provide access to books, media, information, technology, and community resources. Museums collect, preserve, research, interpret, and display selected objects, artworks, specimens, and records.

The spoken lesson
"Schools, libraries, and museums help people learn in different ways. A school organises teaching, practice, discussion, play, and shared activities. A library provides access to books, information, media, technology, and people who can help us find knowledge. Borrowed library items must be cared for and returned. A museum collects, preserves, studies, and explains selected objects, artworks, specimens, and records. We walk carefully, use a suitable voice, touch only when permitted, and ask before taking photographs. Schools organise learning, libraries share access to knowledge, and museums preserve and explain collections." DESIGN REQUIREMENTS: Use realistic educational institutions from varied cultures and regions. Avoid presenting one school model, architectural style, or museum tradition as universal. Do not use quizzes, scores, advertisements, booking buttons, or commercial branding.

Make it real
Pause, point, name what you notice, and connect the idea to something familiar in your child's day. Repetition, a calm voice, shared attention and dependable care matter more than finishing quickly.
