"A globe is a small spherical model of Earth. Earth is nearly round, although it is not a perfect ball. An imaginary axis passes through the North and South Poles, and Earth rotates around it. The equator is an imaginary circle halfway between the poles. It divides Earth into Northern and Southern Hemispheres. A globe shows the relative positions of continents, islands, and the interconnected ocean. It is much smaller than Earth, so mountains, rivers, buildings, labels, and borders cannot appear at their real scale. A globe is a small spherical model of our planet." DESIGN REQUIREMENTS: Use physical geography and scientifically accurate rotation. Avoid rapidly spinning globes, political disputes, brand-specific globe designs, or treating the globe as exact in every detail.
