"A pet is a living animal cared for by people. Pets need the correct food, clean water, safe shelter, movement, rest, enrichment, hygiene, and health care. Different animals need different things. A pet is not a toy. Ask your caregiver before touching. Move calmly, touch gently, and let the animal move away. Do not disturb a pet that is eating, sleeping, hiding, sick, injured, or caring for babies. Adults remain responsible for feeding, cleaning, medicine, and veterinary care. Wash your hands after animal contact. A pet is a living animal that needs lifelong care." DESIGN REQUIREMENTS: Use realistic species-specific care and visible adult supervision. Avoid breed rankings, pet shopping, animal costumes, rough play, or animals as rewards.
