The spoken lesson

"Money is a system people use to exchange for many goods and services. Money may appear as coins, notes, card payments, or digital records. Different countries use different currencies. Adults may earn money through work or receive it in other lawful ways. People spend money on needs and choices, save some for later, and may share voluntarily. Money is limited, so choosing one thing may leave less for another. Price does not tell how good a person or object is. Real coins and payment information stay with caregivers. Money is limited, so people choose how to earn, spend, save, and share." DESIGN REQUIREMENTS: Use generic fictional currency and no commercial brands. Avoid shopping excitement, luxury imagery, wealth judgment, gambling, real payments, financial-data entry, or manipulative rewards.

Make it real

Pause, point, name what you notice, and connect the idea to something familiar in your child's day. Repetition, a calm voice, shared attention and dependable care matter more than finishing quickly.
