"The Sun is the star at the centre of our solar system. It is made mainly of hydrogen and helium in an extremely hot state called plasma. Deep in the core, hydrogen nuclei combine through nuclear fusion, creating helium and releasing energy. That energy moves through the Sun and eventually travels into space as light and other radiation. The Sun's gravity helps hold planets, moons, asteroids, comets, and other objects in their orbits. Its magnetic field creates sunspots, flares, solar wind, and other space-weather events. Sunlight supports photosynthesis, warms Earth, and drives much of our weather and water cycle. Never look directly at the Sun or through ordinary optical devices. The Sun is a star whose fusion, light, gravity, and magnetic activity shape our solar system." DESIGN REQUIREMENTS: Use realistic solar imagery, accurate layered diagrams, restrained animation, and clear "not to scale" notices. Never use a smiling cartoon Sun as the primary scientific representation. Include reduced-motion, captions, audio control, high contrast, and non-colour-only labels.
