Help the child understand that playgrounds support movement and play but require careful use, suitable equipment, safe surfaces, personal space, and caregiver supervision.
"A playground is a place for movement and play. Your caregiver checks that the equipment suits your age and body and that nothing is broken, sharp, wet, or too hot. Wait until the slide is clear. Sit facing forward and go down feet first. Stay outside the path of a moving swing. Use steps and handholds for climbing, keep space from other children, and never push. Remove a riding helmet before climbing. Stop when you are tired or something feels unsafe. Check, wait, use it correctly, and stay close." DESIGN REQUIREMENTS: Use low toddler-appropriate equipment. Avoid competitive points, height goals, stunts, fall animations, or equipment advertising.
Pause, point, name what you notice, and connect the idea to something familiar in your child's day. Repetition, a calm voice, shared attention and dependable care matter more than finishing quickly.
