"The Milky Way is the galaxy containing our Sun and solar system. From Earth, it appears as a pale band because we are looking through its star-filled disk from inside it. The Milky Way is a barred spiral galaxy with a disk, spiral structure, central bar, bulge, and extended halo. Our solar system lies in a smaller spiral feature called the Orion Spur, far from the centre. At the centre is a supermassive black hole called Sagittarius A star, but it does not contain most of the galaxy's mass. Stars, gas, dust, star clusters, planetary systems, remnants, and dark matter all contribute to the galaxy. The Milky Way is our enormous home galaxy, and the solar system occupies one small region inside it." DESIGN REQUIREMENTS: Clearly label outside views as evidence-based models. Use a tiny exaggerated solar-system marker and correct central placement. Avoid claiming a complete external photograph, putting Earth at the centre, or portraying the central black hole as swallowing the galaxy.
