What your child will discover
Help the child identify the legs and knees. Explain that the legs extend from the hips toward the feet and help with sitting, crawling, standing, walking, climbing safely, dancing, and balancing. The knees are joints that allow the legs to bend and straighten.

The spoken lesson
"Your legs begin near your hips and continue down toward your feet. You have one knee in each leg. A knee is a joint that helps the leg bend and straighten. Legs help the body crawl, sit, stand, balance, walk, and move. Every child develops movement in their own way and at their own time. Caregiver, point to your legs. Now point to your knees. Bend gently. Straighten gently. We never pull, twist, or force a child's legs. Legs help the body move, and knees help the legs bend." DESIGN REQUIREMENTS: Use anatomically clear, fully clothed images and slow movement. Do not use milestone charts, walking scores, race animations, forced imitation, or negative feedback.

Make it real
Pause, point, name what you notice, and connect the idea to something familiar in your child's day. Repetition, a calm voice, shared attention and dependable care matter more than finishing quickly.
